 St. George Educational and Charitable Trust, true to its vision of providing holistic educational services in the field of health care, felt the need for providing courses in nursing and started St. George College and School of Nursing. We now offer four-year B.Sc. degree in Nursing and three and half-years diploma in General Nursing. Equipped with clinical competence, the courses open their door for multiple career opportunities and limitless avenues to serve humanity.
Nursing is a profession based on scientific principles, drawn from various physical, biological, social and spiritual sciences. The scope of nursing programme is very wide. While the B.Sc. (N) programme prepares nurses to take up positions as nurse educators and nurse administrators as well as to do nursing at bedside, at community health and research centers, a diploma course in nursing prepares nurses to be at bedside.
